Philosophy Statement
Service to children and families, leadership in the child care field, and conviction to make a healthier and stronger world, characterize the philosophy of Home On The Range. This philosophy is built on a foundation of Catholic values and their mandate to bring healing and strength to wounded families and children.
Through the guidance and power of God, and under the leadership of the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bismarck, we use our power and influence to effect positive change in our world. We act as advocates for children and share our information regarding public and social justice policies. We believe in our ministry: becoming actively involved with those who are in need, hurting, or who seek healing.
The gifts of compassion, love, truth, justice, forgiveness, and mercy are used for the good of all that encounter our services and need healing in this troubled world. The respect of each individual and the dignity of all are basic to our service. We are committed to a professional development program for staff and leaders which enables the organization to further its mission and improve the level of service for those individuals entrusted to our care. We are also dedicated to the stewardship of all our resources including land, livestock, facilities, and gifts. We provide innovative and creative therapeutic programs which build self-esteem, trust, and develop skills in our residents and prepare them for a successful future.
Home On The Range serves children and families regardless of race, color, creed, religion, or national origin.
